Green-Acres is an upmarket and highly sought after bed and breakfast establishment situated in the town of Harding, Southern Kwa-Zulu Natal. We pride ourselves on our consistently high standards of cleanliness and catering for our guests needs. Our staff are friendly and well trained and each of our rooms is tastefully furnished and all have either a private shower or bath on suite. Each room is also equipped with a table and chairs as well as a small fridge and microwave. We offer tranquil surroundings with park like gardens and a sparkling swimming pool to cool off in during those long hot summer days. Each of the beds in our rooms is equipped with an electric blanket in winter to ensure that guests enjoy a cozy night's sleep even if there is snow on our picturesque Ingeli Mountain. While most of our visitors are business people who have work in the area we are often graced with the presence of international tourists and have at times hosted well known celebrities with work in the area. Despite all of the above our rates are extremely reasonable and so we are able to offer excellent value for money accommodation to our discerning patrons. Three of the rooms have two single beds while two have a double beds (Standard Suites). Each room contains a bar fridge, microwave oven and tea and coffee making facilities as well as an electric toaster. Each room has independent DSTV with over 30 channels to choose from. We have secure parking in a walled garden with electronic gate control. A normal health breakfast consisting of cereals, muesli, muffins and yoghurt is served. In addition, patrons are also supplied bread for toast and to this end jams and other condiments are supplied. Fried breakfasts consisting of eggs and bacon or sausage/boerewors, along with fried mushrooms, tomatoes, and beans or sweetcorn can be served by prior arrangement. Our meals are legendary and guests are never disappointed with our home cooked fare. No cooking of meals in our units is permitted but patrons may purchase a take-away from town should they seek alternatives. Bar Facilities: Green-Acres has no bar facilities and guests are encouraged to bring their own liquor should they require it. Green-Acres has its own bore-hole and our water is of the highest quality. Green-Acres is situated at No.2 Willowdene Avenue, Harding and is within walking distance from the centre of the town of Harding. St Andrews Hospital is also within walking distance or can be reached within a few minutes by car. Harding Country Club offers a picturesque 9 hole golf course as well as squash, tennis and bowls and is also a few minutes drive. Cycling into the many plantations surrounding Harding has become a popular past-time and the Harding Cycling club meets once a week for some strenuous exercise into the forest.
